Certification Review
As part of a federal certification process conducted every 4 years, the Central Lane Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) held a joint meeting on June 6, 2011 with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Federal Transit Authority (FTA) to enable the public to comment on work done by the MPO.

The review process also included a site visit conducted by representatives from the FHWA and FTA on June 7 - 8, 2011 to discuss the current status of the MPO's planning process.

Planning Process Certification
Central Lane MPO's planning process has been certified with the Final Report (PDF) issued in September 2011. As detailed in the report, FHWA and FTA determined that the regional process meets federal requirements. This certification is in effect until September 2015.
