These dashboards illustrate a number of key statistics related to commuting by workers from their home to their place of work.  These measures include the estimated number of commuting trips taken, the travel mode used, share of travel mode as percentage of all work trips, as well as travel mode share by household poverty status and by vehicle availability.  The second dashboard shows commute lengths (in minutes) and time leaving home for work.  All of these measures can be explored and compared by geography and by year.

Data Sources: American Community Survey, 5 year data, beginning in 2009, and corresponding data from 2000 Census, where available.
