Bill
Clingman, Senior GIS Analyst, serves as a primary point of contact for in-house
and outside requests for LCOG GIS products and services, and assists with the ongoing
development and evolution of the regional GIS consortium. He is a Certified GIS Professional
(GISP), and a sampling
of his work at LCOG reveals the depth and breadth of his expertise in spatial
analysis, which includes Buildable Land Inventories, Stormwater Basin
Characterization studies, Wellhead Protection Plans, Natural Hazard Mitigation
Plans, Transportation System

Plans, Parks and Open Space studies, and Local
Wetlands Inventories.
Bill
joined the LCOG staff in 1995. He received Bachelor and Master's degrees in
Geology from the University of Oregon, is a Registered Geologist in Oregon, and currently
serves on the Oregon Geologic Map Advisory Committee. Prior to working at LCOG,
Bill worked in environmental consulting throughout Oregon,
and worked in geothermal exploration in Oregon,
northern California, and in Japan. email
