David Richey is a cartographer,
spatial analyst, and urban, regional, and natural resource planner with LCOG's Information
Research and Analysis group, a position he has held since December of 2004. David
contributes to and manages projects in a number of different land use and landscape
planning arenas: developable lands inventories, transportation planning,
natural resource management, public health, agricultural land use, food
systems, water and watershed analysis, management, and health. His cartography
encompasses map products such as map books and reference wall maps. |

Prior to working at LCOG, David earned a BA in
Biology before studying Landscape Architecture at the University of Oregon
(BLA and MLA). While at the University
of Oregon, David was a Graduate
Research Fellow at the Institute for a Sustainable Environment GIS Lab, and taught
plant identification and use, Urban Farming, and Geographic Information Systems
both as a Graduate Teaching Fellow and Adjunct Assistant Professor. email
