Denise Walters, Associate Planner, provides current planning services to small cities, large cities, park districts, and county jurisdictions. Long range planning efforts include special projects on local, state, and federal issues related to natural resources and to transportation. Denise is primary staff for data analysis and program evaluation which include a number of state, federal, and non-profit funded programs for a variety of organizations providing services in Lane County. |

She received her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Ithaca College and two Master's degrees, International Studies (MA) and Public Administration (MPA), from the University of Oregon. Prior to LCOG, she worked for the Lancaster County Conservancy, in the Federated States of Micronesia (Yap Community Action Program), and conducted research regarding the links among politics, culture, and natural resources in western Ireland. Denise is a member of the International Society of Community and Regional Planners (ISOCARP). email
