Jacob Callister, Assistant Planner, specializes in land use planning, and economic, natural resources and GIS analysis. Jake joined the LCOG staff in 2007 and works closely with citizens, staff, and elected officials of both small and large communities on a wide variety of projects. He recently worked on an extensive UGB Expansion Study for the City of Roseburg, with a Buildable Lands Inventory, Housing Needs Analysis, Economic Opportunities Analysis and Expansion Alternatives Analysis. Drain, Yoncalla, Canyonville and Eugene, and has
completed a Natural Resources Inventory for the City of Creswell.
Jacob holds a B.S. in Recreation Resource Management
from Utah State
University and a Master's in Community
and Regional Planning from Univ.
of Oregon. Jacob has
previously worked for the National
Center for Biking and
Walking, the Utah Governor's Office of Planning and Budget, and in GIS for the
City of Logan, Utah. email
