LCOG's legal staff provides legal representation for cities and hearings official services for all governments. In their hearings official capacity attorneys decide quasi-judicial land use applications, the formation of local improvement districts, legal infractions, SDC appeals, and allegations of violations of state rules.

general legal representation and specialized legal advice, including cable TV
regulation, for local governments. LCOG
also provides training to planning commissions and city councils on planning
law and the conduct of hearings, on Oregon Public Records Law, government
ethics and the Oregon Open Meetings Law. |
