Ridgeline Area Open Space Vision and Action Plan
The Long Tom Watershed Council, McKenzie River Trust, The Nature Conservancy, Bureau of Land Management, McKenzie River Trust, Lane County Parks, National Park Service, and City of Eugene are jointly sponsoring a process which will develop an open space vision for the ridgeline area. LCOG is coordinating this effort. Located in the southern Willamette valley, the ridgeline area is a twenty mile corridor that follows the major ridgeline spanning the area between Fern Ridge Reservoir to the west and Mount Pisgah to the east. The area contains recreational trails; prominent area landmarks such as Spencer Butte; unique habitats; headwater streams; and picturesque farm and forest lands.
