LCOG staff participates in the development and implementation of state planning policy. By offering expertise that concerns local and regional planning issues and programs, LCOG seeks to help improve the implementation of state-wide planning policy. LCOG’s participation can include analysis of policy issues; preparation of draft administrative rules, legislative concepts, and guides; preparation of case studies; facilitation of policy dialogues; and mediation of public policy disputes.
