Senior Meals Program Temporary Suspension

Due to a facility closure at the Willamalane Adult Activity Center in Springfield, the Senior Meals Program will suspend service of both Café 60 meals to go and Meals on Wheels routes on Friday, September 11 at that location. Program participants are encouraged to safely travel to another local meal site for hot meal service, if possible. A complete list of open meal sites and operating schedules is below.

Beginning on Monday, September 14, Meals on Wheels routes will operate out of the Willamalane Adult Activity Center in Springfield, however Café 60 meals to go will not be available at that location. Only Senior Meals staff and volunteers will be permitted on-site next week until Willamalane Adult Activity Center advises otherwise.

Once the Willamalane Adult Activity Center reopens fully, a subsequent press release will be issued.

Anyone with questions about starting Meals on Wheels or picking up meals to-go at a Café 60 dining location can call the Aging and Disability Resource Connection at 541-682-3353 during business hours.

Any resident 60 years or older may pick up food to go at any open Café 60 location, regardless of income.

• COBURG (COBURG METHODIST CHURCH) – 91119 N. Willamette, Coburg. Meal service at noon on Wednesdays only.

• COTTAGE GROVE (RIVERVIEW TERRACE) – 925 W. Main, Cottage Grove. Meal service at noon on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays only.

• RESWELL (CRESVIEW VILLA) – 350 S. 2nd, Creswell. Meal service at noon on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays only.

• EUGENE (NORTHWEST NEIGHBORS) – 1221 Jacobs Dr., Eugene. Meal service at noon on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

• EUGENE (OLIVE PLAZA) – 1135 Olive St., Eugene. Meal service at noon on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

• FLORENCE (FLORENCE SENIOR CENTER) – 1570 Kingwood, Florence. Meal service at noon on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays only.

• JUNCTION CITY (VIKING SAL SENIOR CENTER) – 245 W. 5th, Junction City. Meal service at 11:30 am on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays only.

• OAKRIDGE (METHODIST CHURCH) – 48137 E. 1st St., Oakridge. Meal service at noon on Thursdays only.

• VENETA (FERN RIDGE SERVICE CENTER) – 25035 W. Broadway Ave., Veneta. Meal service at 11:30 am on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays only.
