Disability Services Advisory Council

Overview

The Disability Services Advisory Council advises the Lane Council of Governments Board of Directors and agency staff on services provided by Senior and Disability Services (S&DS). The Council also advises on the general welfare of persons with disabilities in Lane County and all other important matters affecting the administration of S&DS except for matters of personnel administration, staff pay and benefits.

The council is composed of 9 to 15 members. Over half the members must be persons with disabilities.

Council Membership

New member recruitment for the Council occurs annually, typically in late summer. The Council is composed of persons with disabilities, professionals, and advocates. For more information on membership and how to apply, please visit this link.
