The Senior Services Advisory Council is Seeking New Members!

SENIORS (age 60 and over) and senior advocates of any age are invited to apply for membership on the Senior Services Advisory Council. The Council serves all of Lane County and is interested in securing representatives from all of Lane County, especially individuals from rural communities and members of minority groups.

Senior and Disability Services (S&DS) is the local agency responsible for planning and providing most publicly funded services for seniors and adults with physical disabilities.

The SSAC advises the Lane Council of Government’s Board of Directors and S&DS Agency staff on issues related to consumer services within Lane County.

The SSAC also advises on S&DS’ annual work plan, budget, and other administrative matters. Council members serve as advocates on matters affecting the general welfare of seniors.
