Get There Challenge 2023

Oregon’s Get There Challenge is on Oct. 1-15!

New twist this year adds team competition!

Running two weeks from Oct. 1-15, Oregon’s Get There Challenge is a timely reason to drive less by using transportation options and working remotely for the chance to win prizes and get recognized.

For the first time ever, the Get There Challenge will be team-based. Join an already existing community or worksite team or create one with up to 10 of your friends, neighbors, and/or coworkers. Teams will compete to be a top team and win prizes by logging trips taken by bike, foot, carpool, vanpool, and transit and remote work days. Plus, win bonus prizes by unlocking early bird achievements!

Grand Prizes

• Team with the highest score (avg trips per member) at the end of the Challenge will win $1,000 (split evenly among team members).
• Team with the highest score (avg trips per member) in LANE COUNTY at the end of the Challenge will win a Private Room Booking for all team members at Portal Adventures.
• Team that reduces the most drive-alone miles will win $100 Clever Cycles gift cards and water bottles + Get There swag for each team member.
• Team that saves the most CO2 will win $100 River City Bicycles gift cards for each team member.
• Team that logs the most vanpool trips will win $25 Visa gift cards for each team member.
• Teams in LANE COUNTY that log at least 10 trips enter a raffle for a Private Screening for all team members at Metro Cinemas.
• Individuals in LANE COUNTY that log at least 2 trips enter a raffle for a $40 gift certificate to Vino & Vango.
• Individuals in LANE COUNTY that log at least 2 trips enter a raffle for a $40 gift certificate to the Hult Center.

Weekly Prizes

• Team that’s the first to log 40 trips will win a $50 Ruffwear gift card (week 1) or a $25 Cafe Yumm gift card + Get There swag (week 2).
• WEEK 1 Team with Highest Avg. Trips per Member in LANE COUNTY will win $20 gift cards to Dutch Bros + $5 Superpedestrian scooter credits for each team member.
• WEEK 1 Teams in LANE COUNTY that log at least 5 trips will enter a raffle for 1 Month Shop Memberships at Shift Community Cycles for each team member.
• WEEK 1 Individuals in LANE COUNTY that log at least 1 trip will enter a raffle for $20 gift card to Equiano Coffee.
• WEEK 2 Team with Highest Avg. Trips per Member in LANE COUNTY will win $20 gift cards to Dutch Bros + $5 PeaceHealth Rides bike share credits for each team member
• WEEK 2 Teams in LANE COUNTY that log at least 5 trips will enter a raffle for 1 Month Shop Memberships at Shift Community Cycles for each team member.
• WEEK 2 Individuals in LANE COUNTY that log at least 1 trip will enter a raffle for $20 gift card to Washburne Cafe.

Early Bird Prizes

• Plan a trip using Get There Connect, send a screenshot, and tell us what mode you plan to use the most during the Challenge for a chance to win a $50 Next Adventure gift card.
• Create an account and log at least one trip between now and September 30 for a chance to win a $50 Next Adventure gift card.
• Start or join a team by September 30 and get entered for the chance to win a $50 Next Adventure gift card.

TEAM CAPTAIN PRIZE

• Be a team captain and start your team by Sept. 30 to be entered into the Team Captain drawing for a $50 Next Adventure gift card.
