Bicycle Counts

Central Lane MPO has an extensive bicycle network that includes nearly 80 miles of off-street bicycle and pedestrian paths and over 140 miles of on-street bicycle lanes and bicycle boulevards. Central Lane MPO been collecting bicycle traffic volume data since 2012. This information is being used to track changes in usage and to better understand the impacts of infrastructure investments, and is being used in health and greenhouse gas planning work.

The second tab at the top of the dashboard will reveal a map that shows the yearly average of annual average daily bicycle traffic (AADBT) (or seasonal average daily counts when the "Season" filter is applied) at the permanent counter sites by direction. The plot shows the daily counts by direction and the table provides an overview of the average AADBT during the observed years and at the permanent counter sites in both directions.
